The Manager, Programs - Healthcare Resilience will support the development of a longer-term program strategy, while providing leadership and oversight for the implementation of all assigned projects within the Healthcare Resilience Program portfolio. This portfolio will focus on supporting the development and implementation of domestic emergency preparedness, recovery, and other programmatic activities focused on building the resilience of local healthcare systems to disasters, disease, and other public health crises across identified states in the US.
Responsibilities will include the day-to-day administration of all assigned programs and projects while ensuring the Healthcare Resilience Program portfolio is aligned with the US and Territories (US/T) program’s mission, strategy, and vision. This will include coordinating and working closely with the US/T programs’ dedicated finance, monitoring and evaluation, human resources, logistics, and technical team members providing cross-cutting support for all programming. They will be the primary relationship manager for strategic partnerships, sub-awardees/contractors, and key stakeholders across the portfolio. They will directly supervise, mentor and coach program staff and indirectly supervise operational staff supporting programming, including any short-term consultants, intern volunteers, and temporary hires. This position will contribute to identifying and pursuing new funding opportunities that support the growth of the Healthcare Resilience Program portfolio of programming in line with strategic priorities.
