The Opportunity
Benefactor Group is growing, and we seek a consultant to join the Nonprofit Technology (NP Tech) team. The NP Tech team supports our clients with all things related to systems and data. You will partner with organizations enriching our communities in diverse ways: creating art, transforming healthcare, relieving hunger, and nurturing young people. You will work with a smart, collegial, and curious team who care deeply about the work we do.
Position Description
Project Success
Your essential job function is to provide effective NP Tech services to our clients. Consulting responsibilities will vary by client and project.
Client Satisfaction
Gauging clients’ satisfaction helps minimize or eliminate negative client experiences, and it makes us all more effective by learning what works. Specific responsibilities include communicating clearly and concisely with clients and colleagues, periodically checking with clients to assess satisfaction, and reviewing and learning from project closure surveys.
Productivity
We expect our consultants to be 65% utilized, meaning they spend an average of 26 hours a week on direct client service. The remaining time is spent improving skills, supporting business development and marketing, and completing administrative tasks.
Subject Matter Expertise
One of your most important roles is that of an expert. You must maintain knowledge of current trends in nonprofit technology, data, and analytics. The ideal candidate participates in self-directed and firm-supported professional development. You will assist in the design, evaluation, and improvement of the firm’s methodology, and support colleagues in successful implementation.
