Senior Prospect Development Analyst

Under the administrative direction of the Director of Prospect Management and Research, this position is responsible for directing specialized, high quality, accurate and timely prospect research, analysis, and prospect management to colleges and units across campus. This position has programmatic responsibility for prospect research, proactive prospecting, prospect management, and reporting in relation to the general fundraising initiatives at Cal Poly. This position will serve as a campus contact and resource for information regarding major donors and prospects.

The incumbent will work closely with Assistant Deans and Directors of Development in the colleges and units across the campus to identify the most appropriate assignment for major gift prospects and to develop cultivation strategies, while utilizing prospect management skills to develop successful cultivation and solicitation strategies that span several areas within the University.
