The Director of Advancement Operations & Analytics provides strategic leadership for the systems, data infrastructure, and reporting functions that support the University’s fundraising and alumni engagement efforts. This role is responsible for optimizing the use of the Advancement CRM (Raiser’s Edge NXT), establishing data governance standards, and delivering actionable analytics that inform fundraising strategy, alumni engagement, portfolio management, and institutional decision-making. The Director leads Advancement Operations staff and works in close partnership with Prospect Strategy, Finance, Information Technology, and Advancement colleagues to ensure data integrity, operational efficiency, and alignment with institutional priorities.

Education

Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred.

Years of Experience

Minimum of seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in advancement operations, data management, analytics, or a related field, including supervisory experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong expertise in CRM/database systems (Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge NXT preferred)
  • Experience designing and implementing reporting and analytics frameworks
  • Knowledge of CASE, IRS, and advancement reporting standards
  • Demonstrated ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Experience integrating alumni engagement metrics with fundraising strategy
  • Experience with online giving platforms (e.g., GiveCampus) and their integration with CRM systems preferred
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and project management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead through change
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • High level of integrity and ability to manage confidential information

Working Conditions

Candidates within the local area would be expected to work onsite; candidates outside of the local area will be considered for a hybrid or remote environment.
