Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Supervises the work of assigned employees, including assigning and reviewing work, providing guidance, and conducting performance evaluations
Provides leadership for a broad range of comprehensive activities in the areas of institutional research, data governance, enterprise data management, survey research, business intelligence and data analytics to support university's mission and data-informed decision making, planning, and resource allocation efforts
Provides information to comply with state and federal guidelines, accrediting agencies, and other external agency requirements
Oversees the creation and maintenance of university and executive dashboards and internal reports that are used by campus leaders to drive actions and improvement strategies
Directs the administration of institutional surveys and provides consulting services for the design, data collection, and analysis of surveys
Performs and oversees complex statistical and advanced analytical tasks using statistical software
Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Knowledge of query tools and applicable software
Knowledge of research methods, data management, assessment, institutional reporting, business intelligence, and data driven decision making
Skill in overseeing the design and development of dashboards and reports to meet stakeholder needs
Skill in identifying opportunities for system improvements and implementing workflow automation solutions
Ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate information with attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to anticipate and address organizational data needs in alignment with institutional goals
Minimum Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in related field
5 years of relevant experience
Equivalent combination of experience & education may be considered
