Assistant Vice President, Advancement Services and Campaign Strategy

 

Bryant Group is proud to continue its partnership with the University of Texas at Arlington in the search for a strategic and experienced Assistant Vice President of Advancement Services and Campaign Strategy.

 

The AVP of Advancement Services and Campaign Strategy serves as the operational backbone of UTA's University Advancement division, providing leadership and oversight across gift processing, prospect research, endowment services, donor relations, advancement technology and campaign management. Reporting to the Vice President of University Advancement and serving on the University Advancement leadership team, this role ensures data integrity, compliance and operational excellence across the full scope of advancement services while playing a central role in managing and reporting on UTA's first-ever comprehensive fundraising campaign.

 

This position also carries significant internal leadership responsibility, overseeing multiple teams and functions, partnering and collaborating across campus to ensure philanthropic activity is accurately recorded, compliantly managed and strategically advanced. The AVP will drive the implementation and maintenance of advancement technology systems and ensure that data, reporting and analytics support fundraising performance and campaign goals.

 

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree and brings at least eight years of experience in development and/or advancement services, with significant expertise in Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT and a proven ability to lead multiple teams in a complex higher education environment. They will demonstrate strong project management skills, excellent analytical and communication abilities and a collaborative approach to working across a matrixed institution. An advanced degree and ten or more years of management experience in higher education advancement services are preferred.
