The Archdiocese of New York serves approximately 2.5 million Catholics across nearly 300 parishes in Manhattan, the Bronx, Staten Island, and seven counties north of New York City. Rooted in a long tradition of faith, service, and cultural diversity, the Archdiocese advances the mission of the Church through worship, Catholic education, formation, charitable outreach, and support for local parish communities. Its fundraising and charitable ministries include the Cardinal’s Annual Stewardship Appeal, Catholic Charities, the Inner-City Scholarship Fund, and parish-based initiatives. These efforts depend on strong donor relationships, disciplined stewardship of resources, and effective fundraising programs.

The Archdiocese of New York seeks a strategic, results-oriented Director, Fundraising Strategy & Analytics (Director) to improve philanthropic performance through effective use of donor data, direct mail and digital fundraising, CRM systems, and prospect intelligence. The Director will work as a close partner to fundraising leadership, turning data into practical decisions about whom to solicit, how much to ask, when to engage, and which channels are most effective.

The Director will help strengthen annual giving performance, donor participation and retention, personalized ask strategies, acquisition and reactivation efforts, and the identification of leadership and major gift prospects. Success requires both hands-on understanding of direct response fundraising and the analytical judgment to recommend, test, measure, and improve solicitation approaches.

Working collaboratively with fundraising teams, Communications, Operations, and the Donor Database Center, the Director will ensure that the organization’s CRM, reporting, and data capabilities support effective campaign execution and meaningful revenue growth. The position will also serve as an embedded analytics partner across the Archdiocese’s development and philanthropic programs.
